Today marked a significant and inspiring moment at Guru Nanak Gurdwara Luton, where a replica of Baba Deep Singh Ji’s Khanda was respectfully presented to the Sangat.

The seva of preparing and presenting this Khanda was carried out by Luton Naujwan Sabha, reflecting their dedication to preserving and sharing Sikh history with the community. Baba Deep Singh Ji, one of the most revered Sikh warriors and scholars, is remembered for his unparalleled bravery and sacrifice in defence of Sri Harmandir Sahib.

Historical accounts state that Baba Deep Singh Ji’s original Khanda weighed 18 seer, symbolising extraordinary physical strength guided by unshakable spiritual conviction. The replica Khanda presented today weighs approximately 15 kilograms, offering the Sangat a powerful physical and symbolic connection to Baba Ji’s shaheedi and legacy.

This presentation served as a reminder of the values Baba Deep Singh Ji stood for—courage, faith, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to Sikhi—inspiring both the present and future generations.
