The Guru Nanak Gurdwara Luton provides Sikh religious teaching and practice for all members of the community and provides voluntary social services for the elderly, youth and other groups in the community.
Guru Nanak Gurdwara Luton is a spiritual home for the Sikh community, dedicated to preserving and practising the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Our gurdwara provides a space for prayer, learning, seva, and community life, supporting Sikhs of all ages in their spiritual journey.
The gurdwara was officially opened by His Majesty King Charles III on 9th December 2022, marking an important moment in the history of the Sikh community in Luton. While our primary purpose is to serve the Sikh sangat, our doors remain open to all who wish to learn about Sikhi and experience the values of respect, equality, and service.
Our mission is to nurture Sikh values within our community by:
Promoting daily Nitnem, Kirtan, and Gurbani recitation
Preserving Sikh traditions and heritage
Supporting families through education and youth development
Encouraging seva as a way of life
We strive to ensure that future generations remain deeply connected to Sikhi, Punjabi language, and Gurbani.
Guru Nanak Gurdwara Luton also welcomes visitors from the wider community who wish to learn about Sikhi, attend open events, or share in langar. We believe that openness and mutual respect help build understanding and harmony in society.
